Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required.
• Certification as NP by a nationally accredited nursing organization (AANP/ANCC) preferred.
• Specialty Certification as per client request and/or state regulations if applicable.
• One year experience as an NP preferred.
• Maintain collaboration agreements per state requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services within the NP scope of practice.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings.
• Prescribe medications and educate patients and families on conditions and treatment.
• Possibly practice in a specialty area as requested by the client.
