Job summary

You will order and interpret tests, consult with a staff physician as needed, and contribute to clinical guideline development and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Eligible for certification as Nurse Practitioner and eligible for Kentucky licensure as RN and NP.
• May require a specific certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide health services following clinic and University procedures.
• Educate patients on preventive care and prescribed treatments.
• Examine patients, diagnose conditions, and plan care.
• Consult with staff physician on patient care as needed.
• Maintain patient records per procedures and protocols.
