Description:We are seeking a Locum APP Clientist in a collaborative, physician-respected, community-based environment.Flexible scheduling and excellent quality of life are offered.Coverage is needed from December 2026 and onwards.There is no limit at this time for the right candidate.Shifts are Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm, with in-person stay in the unit during the shift.There is no call coverage required.This position aims to fill a daytime hospitalist staffing need.The practice setting is inpatient/hospital-based.The patient population consists of 100% adult inpatient and observation patients.All admissions are in-hospital.The average number of patients per day is 8-10.Required duties include responding to codes and rapid responses.Ventilator management experience is preferred.Experience in managing step-down level patients is essential.Patient acuity includes observation, inpatient floor level of care, and intermediate level of care.The ability to manage stabilization of critically ill patients and arrange for transport to tertiary care is important.The EMR/documentation system used is Cerner Community Works, with AI scribe support available.This is a small community hospital with friendly and supportive nursing staff.There is a collegial working relationship with the ED team and surgeons.A strong case management team is in place to support the discharge process of medical patients.A strong overnight hospitalist MD team is also available to assist.
