Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with hospitalist experience to join a Brattleboro, VT inpatient team on a locum tenens basis. Coverage is Dec 01, 2026 – ongoing, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The role requires board-certified credentials, active Vermont license (or eligibility), and full credentialing within 60–90 days. EMR is Cerner Community Works; back-up support from ED and overnight hospitalist team is available; inpatient adult population with 8-10

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of hospitalist experience preferred.
• Board Certified in relevant specialty.
• Active VT license (or eligibility) with DEA, BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care for adult population.
• Respond to codes and rapid responses.
• Manage step-down level patients and ventilator management (preferred).
• Stabilize critically ill patients and arrange transport to tertiary care.
• Collaborate with ED team, surgeons, and case management to support discharge.
