Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing; RN license and NP certification.
• Must be licensed as NP in Maryland or eligible in another state.
• Current CPR certification required; licensure and certification must be maintained.
• Ability to work 4 days a week, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience per JHU policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients in crisis at the center and write orders.
• Take patient history and perform physical examinations.
• Prescribe medications and manage refills; document narcotics in opioid database.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, social work, community health workers, and hematologists.
