UW Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Hematology / Oncology for a job in Madison, Wisconsin.
Job Description & Requirements
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Shifts will be split between the East Park Medical Center and the Johnson Creek Carbone Cancer Center or other community-based UW Health outreach clinics, with one week per month at Unity Point Health-Meriter Hospital for inpatient consults. Hours may vary based on operational needs.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in General Hematology Oncology to:
Education:
If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA Program.
Work Experience:
Minimum - 1-3 years caring for hematology/medical oncology patients.
Preferred - Experience with acute and ambulatory cancer patient care.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner:
If Physician Assistant:
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have active DEA license or the ability to apply for one prior to or upon hire.
