Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Gadsden Physician Management Surgical Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver general care across all ages in a dayshift, full-time role based in Gadsden, AL.

The NP will perform tests, take histories, provide treatments, assist physicians and promote health awareness while prescribing medications within scope.

Qualified candidates will hold an MSN/ARNP, a current APRN license, BLS, EHR experience, and 1–2 years of NP practice.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous experience with electronic health record.
• One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients of all ages with patience, care and understanding.
• Perform tests, record histories, provide treatments, assist physicians, and prescribe medications within scope.
