Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center's Gadsden Pulmonology practice is hiring a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner to join the Gadsden Physician Management team.

The NP will diagnose, treat and manage respiratory conditions, work with pulmonologists, perform tests, take histories, prescribe medications and educate patients. Requirements include MSN with ARNP, current state license, BLS, and electronic health record experience; one to two years NP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN with ARNP specialization and current state license.
• BLS certification current.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• 1–2 years NP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients of all ages with compassion.
• Perform tests, record histories, provide treatments, and assist physicians.

Location: Riverview Pulmonology Associates, Gadsden, AL - Clinic

We are hiring a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner for Gadsden Physician Management (Clinic).

The Pulmonary NP is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) specializing in diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and disorders of the respiratory system. They work closely with pulmonologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for both acute and chronic lung conditions.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding.
• Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• BLS upon hire and maintain current
• Previous experience with electronic health record

One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
