Job summary

MEDIKO in Spokane, WA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care to inmates in a correctional setting, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescribing medications, and patient education.

You will lead a healthcare team, ensure HIPAA compliance, maintain accurate records, and participate in on-call coverage. A valid NP license in Washington and DEA registration are required; 3–5 years of correctional or underserved patient care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, valid state NP license.
• DEA registration if applicable.
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical practice; correctional/underserved setting preferred.
• Active CPR/BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross) preferred.

This role will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care delivery and will prescribe medications, perform procedures, and manage chronic conditions.
