Job summary

Mediko Inc. in Virginia is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care to inmates in a correctional setting.

You will prescribe medications, perform procedures, and manage chronic conditions while maintaining accurate medical records and complying with HIPAA and facility policies. The role is PRN, on-site, and requires an active Virginia APRN license with board certification in a primary care discipline, DEA registration, and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia APRN license with board certification in primary care (FNP/AGNP/AP/ED).
• Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain.
• CPR/BLS certification before start; 2–4 years clinical experience; 1–2 years correctional care preferred.

This role will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care delivery and will prescribe medications, perform procedures, and manage chronic conditions.
