Vantage Search Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice for a role at Hurlburt Field near Fort Walton Beach, FL. The position covers a full range of NP services with privileges at the facility.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–6:00pm, up to 40 hours weekly. Base salary ranges from $104,000 to $120,640 with an alternative 1099 contract rate of $162,240, and includes comprehensive benefits and CME allowances.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent NP-family health clinical experience.
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in any state.
• Board certification by ANCC, AANP, or equivalent.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

• Provide comprehensive NP services across preventive, acute and chronic care.
• Supervise and educate staff; deliver evidence-based lectures and training.
• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic conditions following protocols.

• Identify conditions requiring isolation and maintain universal precautions.

We have a great new opening for a Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice at Hurlburt Field near Fort Walton Beach, FL

Job Specific Position Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide a full range of outcome-based nurse practitioner services in accordance with privileges granted by the facility (e.g., supervise and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose, treat, and counsel patients as indicated).
• Technically direct and teach other staff, provide evidenced-based educational lectures and participate in in-service training to staff members.
• Diagnose and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma within accepted protocols, clinical practice guidelines, Nurse Practice Acts, and/or in consultation with a physician.
• Promote preventive care and health maintenance including annual physicals, positive health behaviors and self-care through both formal and individual education and counseling.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
• Recognize conditions that require isolation and ensure universal precautions are used in all patient encounters.
• Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement and safety.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm, 9 hour shift to include a 1 hour lunch break. Not to exceed 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Master's or doctoral degree.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience a Nurse Practitioner - Family Health.

Licensure: Active, unrestricted license as an Nurse Practitioner in any state.

Board Certification: Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate.

Licensure: Possess current unrestricted RN License from any state.

Life Support Certification: Maintain current BLS Healthcare Provider certification from AHA or ARC.

Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
