Aptive Resourcesis hiring a Physician Extenders NP (Family Medicine) to join our team of talented professionals who provide healthcare services to our U.S. military and their families at Evans Army Community Hospital located at Fort Carson CO.
Employment Status: Full-time
Compensation: This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly $66.5/hr.
Schedule: This position has the following shifts: Mon-Fri, 0730-1630. Hours are subject to change, and may include nights, weekends, or home call if future need arises. The Contract employee shall work no more than 40 hours per week without prior authorization from the supervisor or department chief.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree: Master’s degree in nursing.
Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Certification: Certified in the specialty required by the TO as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate (for example, National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, American Nurses Association, National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties).
Experience: One year of experience within the last two years in a primary care provider role seeing patients of all ages.
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner.
