Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Minnesota seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Medicine team. The role supports ED and Urgent Care with EPIC EMR, collaborating with 7 APPs and 15 Physicians.

This is a full-time equivalent position (0.6–0.8 FTE) with varied shifts, weekend rotations, and holiday coverage; requires FNP, Minnesota APRN license, and ATLS, with 2+ years ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Family Nurse Practitioner training program.
• BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC.
• Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).
• ATLS Certified (Advanced Trauma Life Support). Level 4 Trauma.

Responsibilities

• Provide NP care in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care settings.
• Collaborate with APPs and Physicians to manage patient care.
• Maintain and document patient information in EPIC EMR.

Fairview is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the EmergencyMedicineteam atFairviewLakesMedical Center.

Practice Details:

• Join a team of7APP’s and15Physicians
• FTE: 0.6 - 0.8
• ED Hours: 10am-6pm, 9am-5pm Saturday/Sunday/holidays
• Urgent Care Hours: 12pm-8pm Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday/Sunday/holidays
• Weekend rotation - 18 weekends per year
• Holidays: Some holidays required
• Fairview Lakes Medical Centeris a65 licensed bed facility and 24 bed ED
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Department sees an average of 77 patients per day
• Annual Emergency Department volumes: 28,000
• Approximately 15% of the Emergency Department visits are pediatrics
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)
