Job summary

LifeBridge Health is seeking a qualified CRNP to diagnose and manage diverse patient needs within a hospital setting. You will prescribe medications, collaborate with physicians, and maintain compliant medical documentation while guiding an interdisciplinary team.

In this role, you will respond to emergencies, mentor staff, and participate in education programs to uphold patient-centered care and high-quality outcomes in a geriatric-focused environment at Levindale.

Qualifications

  • Current Maryland CRNP license required.
  • CDS license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Active DEA registration.
  • BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare needs through comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and treatment planning.
  • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances when appropriate, and collaborate with physicians and specialists for referrals and complex care need.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care, monitor patient progress, and advocate for patient needs.
  • Respond to patient concerns, emergencies, and crises using established protocols while providing medical guidance in person and by telephone as needed.
  • Demonstrate leadership through mentoring staff, participating in team meetings and educational programs, maintaining clinical competency, and supporting a culture of teamwork, compliance, and patient-centered care.

Job description

Required Qualifications


  • Current Maryland Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Psych NP license required

  • Current Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) license or eligibility to obtain licensure.

  • Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
