Job summary

Banner University Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specialized in Dermatology to join its outpatient Dermatology team. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient care, medication management, and coordination of dermatologic services in a dynamic, academic medicine setting.

You will collaborate with physicians, residents, and fellows, performing dermatologic procedures and contributing to evidence-based treatment plans across a wide range of conditions.

Qualifications

• Two years of dermatology NP experience required.
• Experience performing dermatologic procedures.
• Ability to work with physicians as well as residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient management and treatment planning.
• Prescribe and manage medications for dermatologic conditions.
• Coordinate care and refer for additional procedures as appropriate.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests when indicated for dermatologic conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

is growing and interviewing Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional patient care services as part of the Dermatology team. The position provides exposure to a wide range of procedures complexity levels, and patient cases, with a strong support system to help you develop your expertise. The scope of practice will be based on your skill level and professional interests. At least 50% of the practice focuses on General Dermatology. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient management, prescribing and managing medications, coordinating care, and referring for additional procedures as appropriate.

Practice Highlights

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Daytime Hours (One session of 4 hour block per week for Admin time)No Call100% Ambulatory; Outpatient OnlyPerforms comprehensive skin, hair, and nail examinations and formulates dermatologic diagnoses and treatment plans.Obtains and reviews dermatologic and general medical histories, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.Orders and interprets diagnostic tests such as skin biopsies, fungal cultures, blood work, and imaging studies as appropriate for dermatologic conditions.Determines and implements evidence-based treatment plans for a wide range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, and skin cancers).Monitors patient progress, evaluates treatment effectiveness, and modifies care plans as clinically indicated.Collaboration 5 physicians, 9 residents,Bolstering our Clinical Presence in the Community.
