SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center has an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Orthopedic Trauma Nurse Practitioner at our Level 2 Trauma Center. The Nurse Practitioner performs common orthopedic procedures, such as reductions, splinting, traction, assist in OR, and suturing. Other duties include rounding, consults, admitting, and discharging patients. They will communicate with other specialists, answering calls/texts, and messages. The NP works in both inpatient and clinic areas. The NP team rotates taking home call and are not in house 24/7. Response to call within 30 minutes is required.
