Job summary

Wellpath in Merced, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical services to incarcerated patients under the supervision of the Site Medical Director and site physicians.

You will conduct routine and emergency care, document in SOAP format, and coordinate with the Health Services Administrator for coverage. Training and collaboration with a dedicated team support patient care in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Advanced degree in an approved Nurse Practitioner program.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine and emergency medical care for incarcerated patients under supervision.
• Documents services in SOAP format and adheres to formulary and in-house resources.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and communicates scheduling changes to Medical Director/Health Services Administrator.
• Provides input into facility committees as requested.
