Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a well-respected, nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system is seeking a Clinical Specialist II (APRN) to join our Adult Outpatient Psychiatry service. CHA is comprised of three Hospital campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty outpatient care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s Metro North Region, with a fully integrated electronic medical record system (EPIC). The Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Department located at our Malden Care Center is a full-service specialty psychiatry clinic, providing both a range of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology treatments. This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary mix of talented clinicians, affiliated with a Harvard Medical School teaching institution, working in a system committed to caring for minorities and other disadvantaged patients presenting with a cross section of Mental Illness.
Maintains current Basic Life Support “C” Certification. Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing by the American Nursing Association. Ideal Candidates will have 2 years of experience in the advanced practice role and must be a graduate of an accredited National League of Nursing graduate school of nursing. Master’s degree (Nursing preferred) with a specialization in psychiatric mental health nursing or relevant clinical area. Current Massachusetts licensure is required authorizing practice in an expanded role as a Psychiatric Nurse Clinical Specialist and authorization including prescriptive authority.
