Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner in Newport, Rhode Island, for per diem day shifts. Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in Rhode Island or compact license; Nurse Practitioner licensure required.

• Annual BLS and ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a quality hospital experience and outcome for patients.
• Oversee caseload across care continuum including pre-admission and post-discharge when feasible.
• Provide leadership in development and evaluation of standards, policies, and critical pathways.
• Oversee care coordination in acute, home, and ambulatory care settings.
• Direct care to patients in various settings and provide expert consultation.

Education

Master's of Science Degree. Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
