Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver patient care in outpatient settings under supervision of the Medical Director. You will contribute to teaching residents and staff, and participate in collaborative patient care across multiple facilities.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing or PA/NP degree, current APRN/PA license (or eligibility), and BCLS/ACLS. Some travel between sites and a flexible schedule, including weekends, is possible.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree for NP or PA program completion.
• Active APRN or PA license in the state of practice or eligibility.
• BCLS/ACLS certification per American Heart Association.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work flexibly including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical management under supervision of Medical Director.
• Assists in teaching residents and medical students.
• Delivers patient care across outpatient settings in collaboration with PCCs and staff.
• Maintains compliance with departmental policies and documentation standards.
