Texas Health Plano is seeking a Nurse Practitioner—Cardiovascular for PRN Days in a hospital-based outpatient clinic. The role focuses on structural heart (TAVR) and heart failure patient care with a growing program and strong team collaboration.

Requirements include BSN, MSN as NP, RN license, NP licensure, at least 2 years NP experience, cardiac experience preferred, and BCLS/ACLS. PRN schedule emphasizes consistency and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• BSN, Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program Required.
• MSN, Master's Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program Required.
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required.
• APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire Required.
• NP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required.
• 2 Years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• One Year cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery patient experience strongly preferred
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire and maintained quarterly
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Within 30 days of hire preferred

Responsibilities

• Uses skills in comprehensive health history to formulate a care plan and therapeutic interventions.
• Performs advanced health assessment to differentiate normal vs abnormal findings.
• Synthesizes physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to provide therapy.

WORK SCHEDULE

PRN Days; Ideally looking for a consistent schedule of the same day(s) weekly for outpatient hospital-based clinic support.

CARDIOVASCULAR PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

What You Will Need

• BSN, Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program Required.
