Banner Health seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner for noninvasive cardiology in Scottsdale, AZ. The NP will work with a lead physician to manage patients in outpatient cardiology, performing procedures, interpreting tests, and prescribing medications.

The role requires autonomous work and collaboration within a clinical team. Requirements include one year of Cardiology/CCU NP experience, AGACNP, current AZ license, board certification, CPR/BLS/ACLS, and DEA privileges.

Qualifications

• One-year NP experience in Cardiology/Critical Care training and experience required.
• Must have AGACNP.
• Current Board Certification and Current Arizona License.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday clinic in outpatient cardiology (4-10-hour shifts, No Call).
• Outpatient; 15-20 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Clinical management of patients in noninvasive cardiology.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and provide education.
• Consultation with physicians and other clinicians.
• Contribute to research activities where applicable.

Banner University Medical Group - Phoenix is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team of highly trained Outpatient Cardiologists. Based out of one of our newest facilities, Banner - University Medicine Cardiology Scottsdale, this provider will work closely with the lead physician managing patients. Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented and dedicated to providing excellent care in challenging situations. The NP hired, will be involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, education, consultation, and research. You will be required to work autonomously at time as well as with physicians and other clinicians along the continuum in a team approach to patient care.

Practice details and qualifications include:
