Job summary

Banner University Medicine Scottsdale seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient cardiology team. The NP will work closely with the lead physician to manage patients, perform procedures, interpret tests, and prescribe medications in a busy clinic.

The role requires AGACNP certification, one year of cardiology/critical care experience, and current Arizona NP license with CPR/BLS/ACLS and DEA privileges.

Qualifications

• One-year NP experience in Cardiology/Critical Care required.
• Must have AGACNP certification.
• Current Board Certification and Arizona License.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients autonomously and with physicians in outpatient cardiology.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures and interpret tests.
• Prescribe medications and educate patients; engage in consultation and research.

NURSE PRACTITIONER -Non-Invasive Cardiology!

Banner University Medicine in Scottsdale, AZ

Banner University Medical Group - Phoenix is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team of highly trained Outpatient Cardiologists.

Based out of one of our newest facilities, Banner University Medicine Cardiology Scottsdale, this provider will work closely with the lead physician managing patients. Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented and dedicated to providing excellent care in challenging situations. The NP hired, will be involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, education, consultation, and research. You will be required to work autonomously at time as well as with physicians and other clinicians along the continuum in a team approach to patient care.

Practice details and qualifications include:

• One-year NP experience in Cardiology/Critical Care training and experience required
• Must have AGACNP
• Current Board Certification and Current Arizona License
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday clinic in outpatient cardiology (410-hour shifts, No Call)
• Outpatient; 15-20 patients per day
