Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain.
• All experience levels as a PMHNP or Psych PA; older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.

Role Overview

Full-time within Monday - Friday

No nights or weekends

Flexible, onsite, round-and-go model with remote documentation

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings

Coverage area includes Pulaski, Dublin, Chilhowie, Abingdon, and Galax, VA

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated compensation range of $120,000 - $160,000 annually with no cap on productivity income

• Base salary plus productivity, W2 position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k)Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided
