Job summary

Healogics seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Columbia, SC clinical team in a full-time role focusing on advanced wound care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

The NP will diagnose and manage chronic wounds, develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, and document care within a multidisciplinary environment in collaboration with MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license with SC authority to practice.
• Graduate of an accredited NP program.
• Board certification as NP.
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute, chronic, and complex wounds.
• Provide ongoing assessment and management of wound care patients.
• Participate in the evaluation and management of patients receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).
• Perform wound assessments and appropriate procedures within the NP's scope of practice.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families regarding wound care, treatment plans, prevention, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation.
