Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical coverage at two South Carolina wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy centers. This part-time role (0.6–0.8 FTE) spans Walterboro and Charleston locations, with a collaborative team to manage chronic wounds and HBOT patients.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and participate in training and quality initiatives while ensuring evidence-based care under hospital policies and Healogics standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold South Carolina NP license and be eligible to practice.
• Graduate of an accredited NP program.
• Board certification as an NP (CNP/FNP/etc.).
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for chronic and complex wounds.
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up of wound care patients.
• Participate in evaluation and management of patients receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Wound Care Center -Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Part-Time | 0.6–0.8 FTE (3–4 days per week)

Position Overview

Healogics is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide clinical coverage at two Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy centers in South Carolina. This part-time position will provide coverage approximately 3–4 days per week (0.6–0.8 FTE) across:

• Colleton Medical Center – Walterboro, SC
• Trident Medical Center – Charleston, SC

The NP will work collaboratively with the Healogics clinical team and hospital staff to provide high-quality care to patients with chronic wounds and other conditions requiring advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic and complex wounds.
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up of wound care patients.
• Participate in the evaluation and management of patients receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).
• Perform appropriate wound assessments and procedures within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding wound care, treatment plans, and disease management.
• Participate in Healogics training, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Help ensure care is delivered in accordance with evidence-based guidelines, hospital policies, and Healogics standards.

Schedule

• 0.6–0.8 FTE
• Approximately 3–4 days per week
• Coverage will be provided between the Walterboro and Charleston centers, based on operational and clinical needs.
• Schedule and distribution of days between the two locations will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license eligible to practice in South Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board certification as an NP.
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required by the facility.
• Previous experience in wound care, hyperbaric medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, or another relevant clinical specialty is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
