Job summary

Clearfield Comprehensive Treatment Center is hiring a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient methadone treatment program. You will evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and prescribe medications as allowed by state regulations, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will work under supervision of the Medical Director and Nurse Supervisor, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of practice as a nurse practitioner preferred.
• Experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
• Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards).
• No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced nursing care under the supervision of the Medical Director; may also be directed by Nurse Supervisor for the clinic under state licensure guidelines.
• Prescribes medication for treatment per state regulation.
• Performs initial and annual history and physical evaluations and assesses eligibility for treatment.
• Monitors treatment plans and collaborates with Medical Director to implement care.
• Ensures compliance with laws and clinic policies; communicates with health care team.
