Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Geriatrics, internal medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, hospitalist, or general practice experience preferred.
• Current medical license in the state of practice and unencumbered DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care.
• Communicate with nursing staff, collaborating physicians, and the Director of Nursing about patient care.
• Conduct rounds, assist with daily care decisions, write orders, and schedule tests and procedures.
• Record daily notes in the EMR; access to dictation services as needed.
• Maintain accurate professional records including billing reports and correspondence.
• Provide services as required by UHC, bylaws, policies, and facility rules.
