This full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role is based at Legacy Rheumatology Medical Clinic in West Palm Beach, FL. The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including conducting comprehensive assessments, taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests related to rheumatic and autoimmune conditions. Daily responsibilities include developing and adjusting evidence-based treatment plans, prescribing medications within scope, monitoring treatment response, and providing education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications. The role also involves coordinating with physicians, infusion staff, pharmacy services, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, assisting with prior authorizations, and documenting all encounters accurately in the electronic medical record.
