Elite Foot & Ankle Associates is seeking a part-time (leading to full time based on volume) Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. Locations include: Sandy, Happy Valley, Canby, King City, Beaverton, and Lake Oswego. This is a unique opportunity for an NP who is passionate about regenerative medicine, healing, preventive care, and building meaningful long-term relationships with patients.
The Nurse Practitioner will focus on full body regenerative and recovery-based care while helping Elite launch and develop its new primary care services. The ideal candidate is comfortable combining evidence-based primary care with innovative, non-surgical treatment options designed to reduce pain, support tissue healing, improve mobility, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions
- Perform medical histories, physical examinations, and patient assessments
- Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
- Develop personalized treatment, prevention, and recovery plans
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and supportive treatments within the NP’s scope of practice
- Provide regenerative and healing-focused care under established clinical protocols
- Evaluate patients for treatments such as therapeutic laser therapy, regenerative injections, neuropathy programs, post-operative recovery care, and other non-surgical modalities
- Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans based on patient progress
- Provide primary care services, including preventive care, routine screenings, chronic-condition management, and same-day or acute visits
- Educate patients on wellness, injury prevention, recovery, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and long-term health management
- Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff
- Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records
- Help develop clinical workflows and protocols for Elite’s expanding primary care and regenerative medicine services
- Participate in quality improvement and ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and practice standards
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license, or eligibility for licensure, in Oregon
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- National board certification
- Current prescribing authority and DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain them
- Primary care, family medicine, urgent care, orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, or regenerative medicine experience is preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-education skills
- Interest in regenerative medicine, preventive health, healing, and non-surgical care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable helping build and grow a new primary care service line
