Job summary

Oak Valley Hospital District is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Clinic in Modesto. The NP will work with a physician to deliver patient- and family-centered care and will participate in examinations, diagnoses, and chronic disease management.

Under physician direction, the NP will perform medical assessments, coordinate health plans, and support ongoing wellness initiatives. Some off-site exams may be performed independently.

Qualifications

• State RN license required and NP certification.
• Master's degree or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification current.
• NP with 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Must have 1 year of primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical examinations and diagnose common conditions.
• Manage stable phases of chronic illness and coordinate health management.
• Assist clinic physician in delivering care to patients.
• May function independently for off-site physical examinations.

Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work with a dynamic physician for our Clinic in Modesto. This individual must have a passion for nursing excellence and be willing to provide outstanding patient and family supported care.

The Nurse Practitioner, under physician direction is responsible for performing medical examination, diagnosis common medical conditions, managing stable phases of chronic illness, coordinating health management and assisting the clinic physician in delivering care to patients. This position may also function independentl? performing off-site physical examinations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Current California Registered Nursing license and Nurse Practitioner Certificate
• Masters level preferred or equivalent
• Current BLS certification
• Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
• Must have one (1) year of primary care experience

Salary: $90-101 per hour, employees who opt out of benefits receive a 10% pay increase
