Job summary

Bristol Hospice seeks a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide medical care and symptom management for adults and children, under a collaborating physician, within a hospice framework.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current NP license in the state.
• Minimum 1 year NP experience and 1 year hospice/palliative care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and manage terminal illness under physician supervision.
• Complete history and physical examinations and interpret tests.
• Develop and manage individualized plans of care and coordinate hospice services.
• Ensure appropriate symptom control through interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintain documentation and participate in care planning with the team.
