Job summary

Overview

The Judge Group is hiring Nurse Practitioners to perform in‑home health assessments for Medicare Advantage members. This role is ideal for NPs who value autonomy, patient education, and community‑based care.

Accepted NP Specialties
  • Adult‑Gerontology Primary Care NP
  • Adult NP
  • Family NP
  • Gerontology NP
  • AGACNP (Acute Care accepted only in specific states)
Acute Care NP Eligibility
  • Acute Care–only NPs are approved only in: AK, AZ, CO, DE, DC, HI, ID, IA, KS, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MO, MT, NV, NH, NJ, NM, ND, OK, OR, RI, UT, VT, WA, WV, WY
Schedule & Hours
  • HouseCalls hours: Monday–Sunday, 8am–8pm
  • Weekend availability is acceptable.
Documentation Requirements
  • Charts: Complete & sync within 48 hours
  • Collaborative reviews: Due upon receipt (3‑day leniency)
  • Discrepancies: Due upon receipt (7‑day leniency)
  • Addendums: Due upon receipt (7‑day leniency)
Items Required for Final Approval
  • Resume
  • Completed attestation form
  • Active, unencumbered NP license
  • AANP or ANCC certification + specialty
  • Verified home address (for equipment shipment)
  • Active BLS/CPR
  • NPI number
  • Confirmed training date
Role Expectations
  • All pre‑requisites must be completed by the Monday before training
  • Training date cannot be changed once selected
  • Complete mock assessments & modules within 7 days of orientation
  • Must pass background, drug screen, and TB test
  • Must call members the day before each visit (unpaid)
  • Assessments may be returned for corrections
  • Maintain 6 weeks of availability in the scheduling portal
  • Paid per assessment (no mileage reimbursement)
Visit Environment
  • Rural, urban, apartments, trailer parks, group homes, outdoor settings
  • Smoking, pets, farm animals
  • Hoarding, pests, mold
Safety Measures
  • High‑risk areas monitored with limited hours
  • Optional safety apps
  • Geo‑fencing
  • "Do Not Visit" designations reviewed with leadership
Driving Conditions
  • Varying drive times
  • Gravel, dirt, toll roads, construction
  • Weather‑related travel
  • Parking challenges
  • Reliable transportation required
Job Responsibilities
