Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility in Akron, OH is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team and support fertility patients through their journey toward parenthood.

This full-time, onsite role engages with patients across fertility evaluations, consultations, and treatments, while providing education, emotional support, and coordinated care with a dedicated medical team.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with an active OH state RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Active BLS required.
• Women’s health background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and fertility evaluations.
• Manage fertility treatments such as ovulation induction, IUI, and IVF.
• Perform ultrasounds and other diagnostic procedures.
• Triage OB cases and complex early OB scenarios.
• Educate patients on treatments, procedures, medications and care plans.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with other providers and laboratory staff.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Engage in ongoing quality improvement and education.

About the Role

The NP will engage with patients throughout their journey, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent, high-quality care.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Ohio in Akron, OH. This is a full-time, onsite position with a schedule of Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and assessments, including fertility evaluations and initial workups.
• Manage fertility treatments such as ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including ultrasounds, uterine assessments, and monitoring for fertility treatments.
• Effectively triage cases, including bleeding OBs, ectopics, and challenging early OB ultrasounds.
• Educate patients on fertility treatments, procedures, medications, and care plans.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families throughout their treatment.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and laboratory staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current in reproductive medicine.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) with an active OH state RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Active BLS required.
• Women’s health background preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively triage complex OB cases.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Annual Salary: $110,000 to $150,000 annually . Final salary offers will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
