Job summary

CHI Health is seeking a Regional Float Pool Nurse to provide exceptional patient care across multiple Omaha Metro locations. You will deploy clinical expertise, expediting responsiveness to facilities with staffing needs while upholding policies and core values.

Your role includes a premium differential and standard night/weekend pay, plus a $13,500 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 in educational assistance for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• RN degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in NE/IA or Nurse Licensure Compact.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS required at hire.
• 2 years RN experience; ability to travel to multiple metro facilities on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Follow the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.
• Document care thoroughly for all patients treated.
• Travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Regional Float Pool Nurse at CHI Health, you will bring your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care across multiple Omaha Metro locations.

Your success in this role comes from your ability to expedite our responsiveness to facilities with the greatest staffing needs, deploying your expertise as a qualified clinician who embodies our policies, procedures, and core values.

• Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.

• Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors

• Administer medications accurately and safely

• Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated

• Keep up with Physician orders

Your experience will be rewarded with premium differentials, in addition to standard night and weekend pay. We are also offering a $13,500 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 educational assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

This Regional Float position will support our PCPU departments.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an RN nursing program.

• Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.

• Basic Life Support is required upon hire.

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required upon hire

• Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care RN floats to.

• Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.

• 2 years of RN experience

Preferred

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing

Pay Range

$36.00 - $52.20 /hour
