Job summary

CHI Health is seeking a Regional Float Pool Nurse to provide clinical expertise across Omaha Metro locations. You will support facilities with staffing needs and deliver compassionate patient care in fast-paced environments.

In addition to a clinical role, you will benefit from premium pay differentials, a $13,500 sign-on bonus, and up to $10,000 in educational assistance for eligible hires, underlining our commitment to professional growth and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
• Basic Life Support is required upon hire.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required upon hire
• Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care RN floats to.
• Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.
• 2 years of RN experience

Responsibilities

• Follow the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Provide patient care across multiple locations with reliability.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.
• Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated.
• Coordinate with facilities and follow physician orders.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Regional Float Pool Nurse at CHI Health, you will bring your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care across multiple Omaha Metro locations.

• Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.
• Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors
• Administer medications accurately and safely
• Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated
• Keep up with Physician orders
  

Your experience will be rewarded with premium differentials, in addition to standard night and weekend pay. We are also offering a $13,500 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 educational assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

This Regional Float position will support our PCPUdepartments.
