This role involves assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to all patients, respecting their dignity and privacy.Hours for this role are Monday and Tuesday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a non-benefits role, although you are still eligible to participate in our company 401(k) with 5% non-vested match and accumulate PTO.Required Education:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.Required Experience:- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a community health setting.- Experience in patient assessment, care planning, and providing direct patient care.- Familiarity with electronic health records and healthcare information systems.Required Skills and Abilities:- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Proficiency in administering medications and performing medical procedures as per standard nursing practices.- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, with a commitment to health equity and community wellness.
