Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, has an immediate opening for a nurse paralegal in its St. Louis office.

The role requires a registered nurse with experience reviewing medical records in a legal setting and preparing medical chronologies for trial. The candidate should be proficient in reviewing medical records, organizing and analyzing information for litigation, and assisting attorneys with discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

Registered nurse with experience reviewing medical records in a legal setting.
Experience preparing medical chronologies for use at trial.
Solid knowledge of litigation support including organizing, reviewing, and analyzing medical records.

Responsabilités

Review medical records from hospitals, physicians, clinics, EMS, nursing facilities.
Prepare detailed medical chronologies, timelines, and case summaries.
Identify significant events, changes in patient condition, and outcomes.
Review records for potential liability, causation, and damages issues.
Identify inconsistencies or gaps requiring further investigation.
Assist attorneys with initial case evaluation and litigation strategy.
Research medical conditions, procedures, medications, and standards of care.
Assist with discovery and discovery responses involving medical issues.
Review and organize records produced during discovery.
Prepare attorneys for depositions of plaintiffs, treating physicians, nurses, and other providers.
Assist with expert depositions preparation.
