ADP, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Registered Nurse with legal nurse consulting experience to review and summarize medical records for litigation matters, including personal injury, malpractice, and mass torts.

You will prepare chronologies, treatment timelines, and damages analyses to support trial strategy. Responsibilities include organizing records, coordinating with providers, and assisting with expert witness selection, deposition prep, and discovery responses while maintaining HIPAA

Qualifications

  • Active or former RN license preferred.
  • 3–7 years of clinical nursing and/or legal nurse consulting experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and summarize complex medical information for legal professionals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements and medical records privacy standards.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Experience coordinating medical record retrieval and working with healthcare providers preferred.
  • Some overtime may be required.
  • Some travel may be required with advance notice.
  • Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience preparing medical chronologies, treatment summaries, and damages analyses.

Responsabilités

  • Review, organize, analyze, and summarize medical records for litigation matters.
  • Prepare detailed medical chronologies, treatment timelines, provider summaries, and medical expense summaries.
  • Identify significant medical events, diagnoses, procedures, medications, and causation issues.
  • Request, track, receive, organize, and maintain medical records and related documents.
  • Prepare concise written summaries highlighting facts, treatment progression, and damages.
  • Assist attorneys in identifying expert witnesses.
  • Coordinate communications with medical experts and consultants.
  • Support deposition and trial prep by organizing exhibits and witness notebooks.
  • Coordinate medical record retrieval, indexing, coding, scanning, and production.
  • Research medical terminology, procedures, diagnoses, and treatment protocols.
  • Maintain organized case files with confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients for efficient case management.
  • Assist with document review, discovery responses, and other litigation support.

  • Review, organize, analyze, and summarize complex medical records for litigation matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and mass tort cases.
  • Prepare detailed medical chronologies, treatment timelines, provider summaries, and medical expense summaries to assist attorneys with case evaluation and litigation strategy.
  • Identify significant medical events, diagnoses, procedures, medications, pre-existing conditions, and causation issues within medical records.
  • Request, track, receive, organize, and maintain medical records, billing records, imaging, and other healthcare documentation from providers and facilities.
  • Prepare concise written summaries of medical records, highlighting key facts, treatment progression, and damages.
  • Assist attorneys in identifying expert witnesses and coordinating communications with medical experts and consultants.
  • Support deposition and trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing witness notebooks, and summarizing deposition testimony related to medical issues.
  • Coordinate medical record retrieval, follow-up, indexing, coding, scanning, and production.
  • Research medical terminology, procedures, diagnoses, and treatment protocols as needed.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files while ensuring confidentiality of protected health information.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to support efficient case management.
  • Assist with document review, discovery responses, and other litigation support as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Active or former Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred.
  • Three to seven years of clinical nursing experience and/or legal nurse consulting experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and summarize complex medical information in a clear, concise manner for legal professionals.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
