Job summary

Haven Homes is actively seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our caring, nonprofit community. As a nurse at Haven Homes, you will provide high-quality care, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to support older adults.

The position is On-Call with wage ranges: LPN $27 - $33.57/hour; RN $34.75 - $43.21/hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have MN RN or LPN License and be in good standing.
• Prior LTC experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.
