Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Nurse Navigator RN in Covington, WA for orthopedic sports medicine. You will work in a hybrid role combining nursing, case management, and patient liaison responsibilities, with a 8:00–16:00 shift and 4-10 schedule.

Ideal candidate has a nursing degree, RN license in WA, and 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience. A MSN/PhD or ARNP is preferred; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or RN with 15+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Certification specific to area of hiring (OCN, CCMC, ACMA, AAACN, Ambulatory Care Nursing) desirable.
• Three to five (3-5) years of recent clinical experience in area of specialty required.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Engage critical thinking in decisions regarding patient care with reference to standards and data.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality, patient experience, and reduce costs.
• Foster learning for patients/families and staff; advocate for ethical care.
• Track quality metrics and lead care team initiatives to improve processes.
