UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking an experienced RN to lead a unit focused on venous access and infusion therapy. You will oversee patient care, mentor staff, and drive quality improvement to ensure high standards of service.

The role requires strong clinical leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous professional development within a faith-based health system. Full-time schedule and day shifts available.

Formación

• RN required and licensed to practice
• 1+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience Highly Preferred
• 1+ nursing experience in acute care Highly Preferred

Responsabilidades

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy, adjust plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access patients.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor nursing staff performance and conduct appraisals.
• Mentor staff, organize training, and support career development.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
