Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Current RN license in Texas.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide innovative leadership to maximize department performance and manage resources.
• Deliver patient care for a group of patients and evaluate multidisciplinary care to improve outcomes.
• Align care with hospital philosophy and collaborate with other departments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting bodies.
• Oversee Swing Bed admissions, insurance authorizations, and payer coordination.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, case management, and providers to plan individualized care.
• Monitor program performance and Medicare compliance for Swing Bed requirements.
