Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System is seeking a Registered Nurse Manager for the Surgery Unit. This full-time leadership role manages day-to-day nursing operations and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include staffing, budget oversight, performance coaching, and collaboration with medical staff to uphold safety and regulatory standards on a 24-hour unit. FLSA status is full-time; requires RN licensure and several years of clinical/leadership experience in a hospital

Formación

• Three (3) years of recent clinical experience.
• Two (2) years of leadership/managerial experience preferred.
• Current state registered nurse license.

Responsabilidades

• Selects, trains, orients, develop and evaluate performance of the department staff. Ensures staffing mix and allocation in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Develops departmental budgets. Administers operations in accordance with budgeted parameters.
• Maintains operational reports and records and collects statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes.
• Coordinates and reports outcome of nursing activities performed on behalf of the patient.
• Establishes and maintains communication between the nursing unit, medical staff and ancillary departments for problem solving and quality improvement.
• Promotes a safe environment that allows for the delivery of high quality patient care utilizing evidenced based practices.
• Works collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure patient care is timely, efficient, and effective.
