PACS is seeking an experienced Nursing Administrator to oversee nursing services within a long-term care facility. The role involves directing daily nursing activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with other departments to maintain resident care continuity.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, training in rehabilitative care, and at least 2 years of experience in long-term care, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage staff and quality

Formación

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Two years or more of experience in a long-term care facility preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing the day to day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Participate in developing, maintaining and updating policies and procedures governing the nursing service department.
• Ensure nurses and aides comply with the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Make written and oral reports to the Director concerning the operation of the nursing service department.
• Participate in the Quality Assurance program and facility surveys as required.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required and assist in care planning.
