Job summary

Everly Talent LLC seeks a Nurse Manager to oversee school-based health centers across Manhattan and a site in the Bronx. Work follows a school-day rhythm with hours from 8 am to 4 pm, weekdays only, with time off aligned to the school calendar, allowing you to make a real difference in student health from elementary through high school.

The Nurse Manager will lead nursing care, immunizations, and health education, supervise the care team, and ensure regulatory compliance and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Active NYS RN license and current BLS
• Infection control and Child Abuse certifications
• 2+ years nursing experience; pediatrics a plus
• Experience in school-based health settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, immunizations, and health education to students across multiple school-based sites
• Assist providers with procedures, diagnostics, referrals, and telephone triage
• Manage patient flow, clinical inventory, supplies, and equipment
• Support quality improvement, infection control, and regulatory compliance
• Guide and coordinate the care team at each site

This is a rare nursing role with a school-day rhythm - weekday hours around 8 to 4, no nights or weekends, and time off that tracks with the school calendar - while making a real difference in the health of kids from elementary through high school!

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for:

• Providing nursing care, immunizations, and health education to students across multiple school-based sites
• Assisting providers with procedures, diagnostics, referrals, and telephone triage
• Managing patient flow, clinical inventory, supplies, and equipment
• Supporting quality improvement, infection control, and regulatory compliance
• Guiding and coordinating the care team at each site

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Active NYS RN license; current BLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse certifications
• 2+ years of nursing experience; Med Surg, ambulatory, or ER preferred and pediatrics a plus
• Venipuncture, medication/immunization administration, and telephone triage skills; bilingual Spanish preferred
