Job summary

EverSource Staffing is recruiting Registered Nurses for school coverage assignments in Manhattan Public Schools. This role offers daytime hours aligned with the school calendar, with no nights, weekends, or holiday shifts and flexible assignment opportunities.

The RN will provide school-day nursing coverage, administer medications, support students with chronic conditions, respond to health concerns, and maintain documentation. Prior pediatric or school health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NYS RN license required.
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or community health preferred.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing coverage during the school day in assigned schools.
• Administer medication and basic clinical care as needed.
• Support students with chronic health conditions.
• Respond to school-based health concerns and emergencies.
