Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a Manager of the Cardiovascular Laboratory to oversee lab operations and staff. The role focuses on delivering high-quality cardiovascular patient care with strong leadership and clinical expertise.

Requirements include RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, and at least two years of supervisory experience in a cardiovascular setting. The position is full-time with day shifts, within Prime Healthcare’s regional network.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
• Five (5) years of Coronary Care Nursing and/or the Cardiovascular Lab.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all new hires after 1/11/2021.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of the Cardiovascular Laboratory Services to ensure quality patient care.
• Develops goals, policies and procedures for the lab.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and staff development.

Manager of Cardiovascular Lab directs the activities of the Cardiovascular Laboratory Services. Administers, plans, directs and evaluates the activities of the Cardiovascular Laboratory employees to ensure quality patient care. Develops goals, policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.
