Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Lab Technologist to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision.

The role requires ARRT-R licensure, cardiovascular lab experience, BCLS, ACLS within 30 days, and strong computer skills to monitor hemodynamic data and support invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and license required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis on invasive cardiology preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures or monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Monitor par level of instruments and supplies; participate in staff meetings.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.

• Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.
• Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. ARRT-R and license as required 2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. 4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.5.
