Select Medical's Savannah facility is seeking a Nurse Manager - RN to lead designated nursing units 24/7. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, staff coordination and budget stewardship in a high-acuity setting.

The position requires active RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 3 years of clinical leadership with 1 year in management. A BSN is preferred; generous benefits and opportunities for professional growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• At least 3 years of clinical practice with leadership emphasis.
• 1 year of prior management experience.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Guide, plan and direct hospital activities on a 24-hour basis.
• Assess patient care needs and coordinate nursing staff assignments.
• Coordinate schedules for nursing staff in the area of responsibility.
• Maintain communication with medical staff and other hospital departments.
• Participate in budget formulation and cost containment for areas of responsibility.
• Maintain effective utilization of manpower, equipment and supplies.
• Assess the need for and assist in staff education and clinical development programs.
• Assume all administrative responsibilities on the unit during designated shifts.
• Supervise overall nursing care and provide staff evaluations at designated intervals.
